Fly Fishing Isnt Just For Rivers
Often times when you talk with people that have never went fly fishing their initial reaction is that there aren’t any rivers in my area. I know to many fishing is grabbing a chair, setting up a fire and dropping a line in the water while you spend time waiting for that bobber to drop. I too have spent many nights fishing for catfish and drinking beers doing the same thing. I just want those that have never tried fly fishing to understand that you can fly fishing just about anywhere. Most of my fly fishing is actually done in farm ponds or at local reservoirs. I also enjoy floating along lakes and channels in my jon boat fly fishing as we go. Fly fishing isnt just for those trout fisherman that want to wade out into the middle of the stream its for everyone and can be done everywhere. If you have never tried fly fishing you should give it a whirl you might be pleasantly suprised at how much fun and excitement can be gained from it.
